Sallie you were a true lady. I was trying to remember how long I have known you, I think it was when I was 13 or 14 in Girls Brigade at Chester Road. If you and Alf had not bought your family to Birmingham I would never have met my best friend, Heather. I will always remember the Easter’s in the hall in Wolvey, when we helped with ‘sticking and stuff’, though that’s not quite what we called it! There are so many memories of when I have spent time with you and the family, all of them full of laughter. I will miss you. Xx
